RAPIER LAYER 3 SWITCHES

Allied Telesyn’s Rapier family of Layer 3 switches delivers an unprecedented

level of integration and switching performance at affordable prices. With

wirespeed Layer 2 switching and wirespeed Layer 3 IP routing on all ports,

these switches are designed for high-performance desktop connectivity,

workgroup and server farm aggregation or backbone applications. The Rapier

24i Fast Ethernet switch offers 24 10/100Base-TX ports for micro-segmentation.

It includes an advanced feature set and offers Stateful Inspection Firewall, last-

mile WAN connectivity, encryption, tunneling protocols, rate limiting and QoS

functionality. The Rapier G6 is equipped with six form-factor Gigabit ports and

singlemode, multimode or copper Gigabit interfaces. Additionally, all Rapier

switches include two optional uplink slots, which can be configured with either

a 1000Base-SX, 1000Base-LX or 1000Base-T interface module for flexibility.

LAYER 2 MANAGED SWITCHES
