The Ericsson WebSwitch is a family of IP telephony products, merging voice,

data and wireless communications to offer converged networking solutions for

small to mid-sized enterprises.

The WebSwitch 2000 works as an IP-PBX and as a VoIP gateway. This platform

bridges traditional circuit-switched and next-generation IP telephony by

combining an H.323-compliant gateway with gatekeeper functionality and

telephony services. It features two or four modular slots. A slot may contain an

analog extension card (FXS), an analog trunk card (FXO) or a digital T-1 trunk

card. Up to 20 WebSwitches may be networked on the same LAN or across a
