CORNING CABLE SYSTEMS

The wideband Base Units perform RF-electrical-to/from-optical conversion between

the Radio Interface Unit and the remote units, so that RF services can be transported

to/from remotes using optical fiber cabling. The BU converts signals to/from RF

optical/RF electrical before RF signals are transported to/from multiple remotes (up

to eight per BU) using low-loss fiber (SMF/MMF).

CORNING CABLE SYSTEMS

MA330 campus fiber link units enable campus connectivity with scalable

point-to-multipoint RF distribution of operators' centralized capacity sources

(i.e. BTS or base transceiver station) over WDM using low-loss fiber connections for

up to a 20 km radius. The solution consists of the 330 Main and 330 Remote units.

signals over fiber to the remote locations where 330 Remote Units are installed.
